Sub-Base Preparation Standards
Every pour begins with native soil evaluation and lift compaction to a minimum 95% modified Proctor density. We grade and shape drainage away from structures before any concrete is ordered - the engineering step that prevents the settlement, heaving, and cracking that destroy under-built work within a few Utah winters.
Concrete PSI Mix Specifications
We specify air-entrained, low-permeability concrete matched to the load and exposure of each placement - typically 4,000 PSI for structural foundations and flatwork, with mix designs tuned for Utah freeze-thaw and de-icing salt exposure so the surface resists scaling and holds its finish for decades.
Rebar Reinforcement Guarantees
Reinforcement is engineered to the actual span, load, and soil condition - not a generic guess. We place rebar or welded wire mesh to spec, sized and spaced per structural requirements, with proper cover and chair spacing so the steel does its job inside the slab instead of sitting on the ground.
1-Year Workmanship Coverage
Every project - concrete pouring, finishing, curing, excavation, dirt work, foundations, formwork, reinforcement, and drainage detailing - is backed by our written 1-Year Workmanship Warranty covering defects in workmanship. If our workmanship fails within the first year, we return and make it right.
